Sims 2 Apartment Life Bookcase?
READ THIS and do NOT choose a best answer, because you aren’t perfect and I will choose the best answer, the one that actually helps and whose author was not lazy.
Ok, I got AL for Sims 2… now, there is only ONE big bookcase, the mysterious one. It says so in the description. And I tried all I could… I made space so you can walk through it in both apartments, (separate apartments with separate families) and I click on “Read…” but nothing. No mysterious mystery book.. Nada. Anyone who REALLY knows how to work this thing? It’s not doublesided, but then again NOTHING else in my catalog is doublesided.
Thanks, Phynxx. I just tested it on a normal residential lot, and it shows up there but not on Apartments. *Sigh* MAXIS LIED TO US IN A TRAILER! It showed a sim with that bookcase in an APARTMENT and he accidentally walked through it and then he was in a sim of the opposite gender’s apartment, and they hit it off… ARGH

This is from my memory of the game, so forgive me if it’s not correct.
I’m pretty sure you cannot connect two apartments like that. Can you connect them with a normal door? If not, you can’t connect them with the mysterious bookcase.
